Alex Boydakov: Honest Travel & Culinary Notes

Hi, I’m Alex Boydakov—an author, editor, computer expert, and, above all, a dedicated family man and perpetual learner. For me, life is the ultimate project, and I approach it with a blend of analytical precision and heartfelt passion. This website is my personal canvas, where I share my greatest loves: exploring the world and savoring its incredible flavors.

A Passion for Authentic Experiences

My story in content is driven by a simple, genuine desire: to connect with the world and share those connections with you.

“I really like to eat delicious food, take a walk, travel, and enjoy life to the fullest. I often write notes about restaurants all over the world, about those unusual places where I have been, what I have seen and touched, what I admired and where I did not want to leave.”

My reviews are not those of a distant, official critic. They are the honest impressions of a fellow traveler. I pay for every meal and every trip myself. This independence is my promise to you: my recommendations are unbiased, unfiltered, and come from a place of pure enthusiasm. If I tell you a place is worth your time, it’s because it truly moved me, and I’ll always explain exactly why.

The Other Side of My World: Expertise and Balance

Alex BoydakovWhen I’m not writing about a hidden trattoria in Rome or a bustling market in Bangkok, I’m deep in the digital world.

By profession, I am a computer expert and digital consultant with over two decades of experience.

My specialization includes:

  • Web Development & Design

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Digital Promotion

  • Contextual Advertising

  • Client Acquisition Strategies

  • Data Recovery

This technical background shapes how I write; I value clarity, structure, and getting to the heart of what matters.

But my most important project is my life outside of work. At 47, I am a happily married husband and a proud father of two wonderful children. They are my greatest adventure and my constant source of inspiration.

I am a firm believer in continuous growth, both personal and professional. I hold two university degrees and my curiosity is insatiable. I’ve completed the first level of Gestalt therapy, I see a psychologist regularly to better understand myself and others, and I’m even building our family home from the ground up—a literal manifestation of creating a strong foundation.

My Philosophy: The Balance of It All

My life is a conscious pursuit of balance—juggling the demands of family, a demanding career, and the need for personal development. I don’t believe in doing just one thing well; I believe in building a rich, multifaceted life where each passion fuels the others.

This website is a testament to that philosophy. It’s where my analytical mind meets my curious soul. It’s a space for honest stories, trusted recommendations, and a shared appreciation for the incredible details that make our world worth exploring.

Thank you for visiting. I hope my stories inspire you to seek out your own adventures, to savor every bite, and to find your own perfect balance.
